I've encountered another scammer today, and I've blocked their number to prevent future disturbances.
I am being harassed again by these scam callers! This is not the first time they've tried contacting me with different numbers. When I answer, they often hang up as soon as my answering machine picks up. It’s infuriating!
I answered the call but encountered silence on the other end, which prompted me to report the incident to the DO NOT CALL registry and subsequently block the number.
This number seems suspicious as I've been advised to block it and not answer if called.
Based on the reviews I read, I chose not to answer the call and ended up blocking the number.
They say they are Charity Choice This is a scam about the 5th phone call in the past week. Hang up. What ever you do DON'T answer the questions cos that will lead to more calls in the next days and weeks from the charities mentioned in the survey. I got stung years back didn't lose money just time due to all the calls. The scam happens when they ring as they are the names of ligit charities but the call is from a scammer. Never donate over the phone if they give a link go to the charities actual webpage if you really want to donate.
