Just got a call from this number, it was a preselected dialer, hung up as the caller got on the line. On the do not call register.
Just had a call from them and she said she was from the aistralian bankers association and said this is not a scam call (funny as I had a call from a solar company the other day and I accused them of being a scam call) and I asked why she said this is not a scam call and she said no and hung up, must be a scam!!!
Asian accent claiming to be from Commonwealth bank. Told me I have excess charges on my account and she could help me get them back. I told her I would go into my bank and sort it out if it was true. Then I told her not to call ne again and she hung up. I have now blocked the number.
Received a call from a lady with a strong Indian sounding accent saying she was from the Australian Bankers Association and wanting to know whether I was happy with my bank. I told her I did not want to participate in a survey on my banking activities and hung up. Number came up as +1 61746583545, I did not answer. On my message bank I could hear a conversation in another language possibly an African country? I phoned it back from a private line and it went to a message bank which said mailbox is full. I'm guessing Nigeria is calling :P.
