Yes, it’s an Indian scam call. Hiding behind a Tully, Queensland number.
Scam, scam, scam.
They claimed to be from National Broadband Network (Indian lady voice). Stated there were users hijacking my internet connection.15-29 devices connected including some from overseas.
I played along a little and asked for them to verify their ID.
They gave me a CLSID number that is common to all Windows software. I asked them to tell me my email address, they stated they couldn't as they were not allowed. I gave them permission to share this with me. They said they couldn't. I gave them permission again. They hung up.
