This is a persistent scam call from Cairns, using the number (07) 4249 3495. I've had enough of these relentless scammers!
I received a call from this number, but when I didn't say hello immediately, the caller hung up. Shortly after, my husband received the same call about a solar energy offer. The male caller claimed he was calling from Bundaberg, while we actually reside in Brisbane. This raises red flags and suggests that it could be a fraudulent call.
Scam. He used my name saying his name was Mark. Wanted to chat about the solar rebate. When questioned where he found my non listed private number he hung up.
The caller used my name and mentioned solar panels. When I asked how they acquired my home phone number, they hung up abruptly.
Definitely spam.
Rang back and very strange ringtone then recorded message with American accent stating your call is important to us please wait on the line and one of our agents will be in contact with you shortly. Now have blocked.
