Had previous calls wanting donations for Youth Suicide and Animal Protection - think it was Carley or Sophie who called. The number they called from was (07) 2809 3447. They hung up when I told them where to go.
This girl has rung at different times and on Tuesday morning, I said I was waiting for an important call and I couldn't talk. She kept talking gushingly friendly and said I won't keep you long. I said, I really can't talk. She kept talking. I told her that she was doing more harm than good because she was a bully. I hung up. It happens intermittently but that was ridiculous on Tuesday.
Called me multiple times - most times I don’t speak - but it’s definitely some kind of automated bot - given the speed and how it hangs up mid sentence - I have blocked at least 8 numbers from Queensland but it just keeps ringing - obviously a bot doesn’t get tired of trying.
I get constant calls from these people who have at one stage talked about animal adoption and then youth suicide. Now when they call I say no and hang up, I don't want to be rude but I am getting calls at all times of the day and am getting sick of it. To the last caller I said stop calling me.
Definitely a scam. Received a call from someone who has Australian accent for suicide donation. Almost gave credit card details. When more questions were asked, she could not answer and changing the topic to get the credit card number.
