I received a call today from a number that I suspected was spam. When I answered, a woman offered me a 30% discount on Vodafone services. I told her that I was satisfied with my current provider, Optus. The caller then claimed that Vodafone and Optus were collaborating. At that point, I ended the call. Afterward, I contacted Optus to report the call and was informed that there is no partnership between Vodafone and Optus, which further confirms my suspicion that it was a spam call.
