Got a missed call from this number today,18/05/2023, and since I knew STRAIGHT AWAY it was a number I didn’t know, I prayed to the phone Gods that once I turned my number sending off and called them back, they’d answer, but damn it, nope! No play time for me. They even left a stupid message to text saying if I didn’t sign some document, they’d ‘in-force’ it…. Blah, blah. That made me want to play MORE!!! #Cowards.
This number claims to be from a company named Swift, which appears to be a trading company. I consider this to be spam.
Just had a call from this number offering me a refund of money I supposedly invested in a crypto trader. She couldn’t tell me how much the refund was or how much I invested. They just wanted to establish my identity. I told her that would never happen, I have not invested in cryptocurrency this year and will not be scammed. She hung up.
I received a call from an unknown number that displayed as being from Brisbane, but they did not leave any message.
This number has called me multiple times and remained silent when I answered the phone. This repeated behavior is concerning and feels like a nuisance.
I received a phone call from this number but chose not to answer because it had a phone extension from another state (Queensland, 07 area code). I plan to ignore any future calls from this number and have decided to report and block it.
I received a call from a man with an Asian accent who tried to sell me 'internet service.' When I explained that I don't need a new internet service because I am under a 2-year contract, he claimed he wasn't selling anything but insisted I needed a 'private' internet service. I already use a VPN, so I recognized this as a scam and hung up.
