Same here, exactly same call, except "Ann" had no accent. Wanted to find out how many landlines we have. I checked with QLD Communications Group and they are aware of the calls but it is not them calling, somebody is using their company name for the calls.

Asian accented lady call saying that she is from Qld Communications Group. Wanting to tell us that they are working on the National Broadband Network fibre phone lines in the area next week Wednesday & Thursday. She wanted to know if we were experiencing any issues with our landlines and wanted me to confirm the address she had for us was correct but I refused to confirm. I asked her about why we were not informed via Telstra or our current phone provider as seemed very strange I told her I suspected she was soliciting phone line information for future contact regarding phone account sales, she ignored me and hung up.
