However, I became suspicious when he asked for the brand of our internet service. When I questioned the need for this information, he vaguely claimed it was necessary for technical knowledge. He also seemed to know the name of our IT manager, which further raised my suspicions.
Very suspicious call. Claiming to be NSW Communication Group, calling due to upgrades in National Broadband Network and wanting to find out if we were affected. Asked about how much phones we have, brand of our phones, if we have a photocopier/printer, how many people in office etc. Very strange.
