He said he couldn’t do that because the call was through VOIP. He hung up. I tried to call back and the number didn’t work. Definitely scammers, wanted my credit card details. I gave him fake details and even said would you like my PIN number. He was surprised and said yes. I said give me your address and I’ll send you my card so you can test it for me. He hung up, the pathetic scammer country.
Said my visa and mastercard was hacked (odd the mentioned both HAHA) Asked for my full name and card details. I just laughed called them pathetic and hung up.
They called me and was 100% a scam pretending to be Telstra. They were actually pretty convincing (I like to let them go on for a bit then rip them to shreds because I work in IT). Be very cautious.
Received a text message saying I missed a call but my phone never rang considering I live in another state I find it highly suspicious.
