I told him the called ID had a different area code to WA, moments later the call disconnected.

He asked me to confirm which devices were currently connected to my home network. I asked him to tell me what my IP address was he was concerned about. He said he couldn't over the phone due to "security". I said "I don't believe you" and he said he would email me with the info and call back in one hour.
