We eceived a landline call that was logged on our phone as 0733607239. A lady with a subcontinental accent, possibly Indian, said they wanted to send an National Broadband Network technician around to upgrade our phone service and software to optic fibre. She knew our postcode and that we were in line for such an upgrade. She did not know our name or address. I tried to press her on who she worked for and to get evidence of her authority to act in this way. The phone-line was immediately ended. It was definitely a scam. The apparent phone number for this call (above) matched a Telstra, Queensland number but had been ghosted by the scammer. Don't give them any details of any sort.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Telstra, stating that they had identified issues with my internet connection. They asked me about the lights on my modem, but when I inquired whether the issues were related to my home internet or a business account, they abruptly hung up.
