When I called this number, I got a message saying the number is not in use. This clearly indicates it is related to a scammer!
Called twice on different days and both times a voice mail was left by an automated voice saying there was a $300 and $1200 charge to my card from Amazon and that it’s suspicious since there’s never supposedly never been a purchase to Amazon on that card before and to press 1 to accept transactions or 2 to speak to a person.

This is definitely a scam, if not outright fraud. They left a message claiming, "The Australian Passport Office has confirmed that your passport has been used illegally. Press 1 for the Chinese Embassy..." I hung up, blocked the number, and reported the call after realizing it was a scam.
I received a missed call from this number while I was away from home. They did not leave any voicemail, and I do not recognize the number, which raises my concern about its legitimacy.

SCAM Why would a laminating, glass polishing business from Brisbane ring me in Adelaide. Clearly their number has been spoofed. I didn't answer.
