I have asked the callers not to contact me anymore and blocked their number, but they continue to call me from different numbers, which is very frustrating. I urge others to take action to stop these intrusive calls!
The caller asked to speak with one of my relatives but wouldn't provide any information about the reason for the call. I told them not to contact me again and subsequently blocked the number.
The caller claimed that my computer had been hacked and insisted on gaining access to it to fix the issue. Despite my explanation that I had nothing on my computer, she persisted in wanting access to both my computer and phone. I hung up on her, but she called back another 7-9 times. I contacted a service called "Gigs To You," and they found an app that had been downloaded to access my computer. Thankfully, I was able to get it cleaned up.
Someone called twice today, first time hung up second time woman said she was from telsta and our internet had been hacked. They were going to cut the internet off.
This number called my home phone, but I chose not to answer it, and they did not leave a voicemail.
I didn't answer this call, but Truecaller identified it as being from a real estate firm. Thinking it might be a scam, I tried to return the call, but there was no response. I now suspect it's a scam after all.
