To be honest, I really don't know who they were.
They are probably SCAMMERS..... You see I use CALL GUARDIAN from Telstra, & if you aren't on my contact list (either a relative, friend, or someone I do business with) CALL GUARDIAN 301 intercepts the call & tells the caller if they wish to speak to us, they need to announce themselves, then press the # key, & then.... Only then.... will their call will ring through to us. When the call finally rings through to my phone & I hear the announced person, I can choose to accept the caller, or reject the caller. I can even permanently ban the caller if I choose.... At any time.
CALL GUARDIAN 301 has kept 99.999% of all telemarketers, SCAM & SPAM Artists from disturbing me...... The beauty is that it keeps track of all calls (caller IDS) for me to scan like this number, & only 2 of the bad guys in the last 3 years went as far as announcing themselves....... JFYI, people who really want or need to speak to us, will almost always announce & get through...... I don't lose important calls......
