This is a scam call from a man with an Indian accent claiming I have committed tax fraud and it will be reported to the local police before my arrest, which is hilarious since I have no income and am at home with kids. Not to mention, tax fraud is not reported to a local police department and grounds for immediate arrest! Block this caller.

Received a message on our voicemail from this caller. He said to "not disregard his message or he'd have to issue an arrest warrant and register a lawsuit". No idea what he's talking about.
Got a recorded message from this number claiming I owed tax and will be arrested, called back, spoke to “Peter Williams” at the “Australian Taxation Office”. Absolute scam. Kept calling and asking him dumb questions until they blocked my number today.
Received a call from this charmer. He left a message on our answering machine requesting we call back with out giving us a name or his company details. If we did not call back he would issue an "arrest warrant" and proceed with district court proceedings.

I got a call from 07 3171 3592 and similarly was advised I was in trouble for tax avoidance and fraud. I rang the ATO scam report line straight away and reported this. ATO advised to not talk to them/return the call, and to report to the ATO. It's not easy reporting to ATO - they need a lot of info from you so can take 10 mins at least to report.

So I too rang this no after they left me a voicemail.
I spoke to a Philipino Sounding male.
He asked me for my mobile no.
I gave him this.
He asked me for my name.
I said "look it up as you called me".
He replied with - I don't know.
I replied with then how did you call me, stating that I might be introuble and you don't my name?
He replied with - what is your name?
I then replied with - F*** You Mother F***ER!!!
And I hung up!

I got a call from this number too on 11/10/17 and they left a voicemail claiming there was an issue of tax fraud and there would be a warrant for my arrest. Reporting it to the ATO Scamwatch.
I have had the same call from this number. I called the tax department, they say I have no debts.
This automated call comes through so often that its getting to the point of harassment. I will find this moron and end him.
