Played my favourite game of going along with the call (eligible for a new phone) and asked where they were calling from (geographically) The Indian sounding lady gave a street address in Brisbane so I responded with astonishment that I must be literally next door. I started talking about the weather and local coffee shops but soon realised that my new friend had rather devastatingly ended the call. Such a shame.

I just need to give him some information and then I will be entered into the promotion… I’ve been proceeded to ask him if this scam works and that he’s able to get information off of people and he said yes LOL…yeah I cannot believe that! Do not answer and block the call.
Scam call. A Indian woman saying something in relation to my phone number and with my plan I can get 50% off a brand new phone. Little did they know, I’m not in a plan - I bought my phone out right. Idiots.
