The scammer behaviour escalates when challenged. One contributor who told callers to "bugger off" experienced repeated calls from different numbers (seven in total) as part of the same investigation claim. WRITE A REVIEWFrequently Asked Questions
Why do scammers claim to be investigating my spouse's trading account?
This tactic exploits the assumption that you may not know all your spouse's financial activities. Callers hope you'll panic and provide information or allow them to "verify" account details. If you receive such a call from 07 3130 3810, contact your spouse directly and then verify the claim with your actual brokerage using their official contact number, not the number provided by the caller.
What does it mean when a caller from 0731303810 hangs up immediately?
Contributors have reported this tactic from 07 3130 3810. Scammers often use quick hang-ups to log that a number is active and monitored, allowing them to sell the number to other scammers or to call back later with more aggressive tactics. Do not return the call or try to find out who it is.
How can 07 3130 3810 appear to be a Queensland number if it's from overseas?
One contributor explained that these are VoIP numbers originating from the UK or Africa but routed through systems that make them display as Australian. This spoofing technique is used to increase the likelihood of the call being answered. Always verify by contacting organisations directly using official contact details, never ones provided by an unexpected caller.
Why do scammers call from multiple different numbers after I block 0731303810?
Contributors report that after being told to stop, callers switched to seven different numbers claiming the same investigation. This is a common tactic to circumvent blocking. It suggests the scammers are coordinated and have access to multiple phone lines. Each new number should be blocked immediately, and the pattern should be reported to the ACMA.
Is 07 3130 3810 a legitimate Queensland business number?
While 07 3130 3810 is allocated as a local Queensland service through Symbio Networks, contributors report it is being used for scam calls claiming to investigate trading accounts. The spoofing techniques and claims described indicate this is not a legitimate business number, regardless of its allocation. Never trust caller ID alone.
What should I do if I already provided information to a caller from 07 3130 3810?
If you disclosed personal details such as your name, address, spouse's name, or financial information to a caller from 0731303810, monitor your accounts closely for suspicious activity. Consider changing passwords for online banking and trading accounts, and report the incident to Scamwatch (scamwatch.gov.au) and your bank. If the caller made threats, also report to local police.
