Dodgy. Dangerous. Achtung. - This number (or the caller ID displayed this number, it could have been masked to display this number) was used for bank fraud, theft, hacking of phone bank details. My friend experienced this 4th March 2022.

Call from this number asking to check something about incorrect transaction or payment /transfer. Australian accent, male, very friendly convincing, chatting away etc.

The person logged in to check their bank transactions (on the mobile phone they were speaking on, iPhone) And there might have been a key tracking app or stored password hack or something?

So as they logged in to their bank, the dodgy person/persons managed to log into their account also and transferred money from their account. $5000, (max limit), and done with osko so instant and no chance to stop.

Apparently it's a new scam banks are aware of. I had not heard of this and my banks (multiple banks) had not warned me of this. (but integrity of banks is another point altogether.....)

This was on an iPhone, but I imagine the same for android.

Not sure of the exact way they managed to gain login details from phone. Possibly they had clicked on link or something previous, which downloaded a hacking app.

But this is just to flag this number as Dodgy!!

Person then received a bunch of calls (they didn't answer) from numbers with a Singapore phone ID.
