    Called me and started flirting with me? Telling me how much he loved my smile, and his my hair falls from my shoulders. I was like “ uh I don’t even love in the same state” and then he said he’ll reveal himself at lunch tomorrow?

    I received a call from this number from a male with an Australian or possibly New Zealand accent, saying that he was from Nick's Pizza's and asked for a street address to drop off the order to. When I said that I had not ordered anything he persisted with the story and pressed for details so I ended the call.

    Weird call from 0730535678 saying (male Australian accent) this was the city court and that I had unpaid traffic fines. When I asked who he thought he was talking to, he said he I was an idiot driver who should not be driving... I terminated the call.

    Abusive call about a scratched car but the scary part is that someone you know entered your phone number on a web page. YOU WERE NOMINATED FOR THIS CALL AS A JOKE BY SOMEONE YOU LOVE! I'm expecting an apology (flowers & chocolates).

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
