BOQ Impersonation Scam Reports for 07 3022 5410
Four contributors have reported calls from 07 3022 5410 (also written as 0730225410) impersonating Bank of Queensland (BOQ) fraud department staff. Two reports explicitly describe scam activity, with callers using well-spoken voices and American or Filipino accents while claiming to represent BOQ's fraud prevention team. The most recent report from 21 November 2025 reveals a distinctive pattern: the caller knew the recipient's full name, described a specific fraudulent transaction involving flight ticket purchases, and immediately hung up when the recipient suggested verifying the claim directly at their bank branch.
The scam appears designed to catch contributors off-guard by creating urgency around alleged suspicious activity. One contributor noted that receiving a rapid callback from 0730225410 after an initial missed call made them more likely to answer, suggesting deliberate callback tactics. Multiple reports indicate the callers did not properly identify themselves or provide verifiable BOQ reference details when questioned.

Is 07 3022 5410 actually Bank of Queensland?
No. Multiple contributors have confirmed that 0730225410 is a scam impersonating BOQ. Bank of Queensland does not contact customers about fraud by asking them to confirm personal details or calling them back. If you're unsure, always hang up and call your bank directly using the number on your card or their official website.
Why did the caller from 07 3022 5410 hang up when I mentioned going to the bank?
Scammers using the 07 3022 5410 number hang up immediately when recipients suggest verifying claims directly with their bank. Why did the caller from 07 3022 5410 know my full name?
Scammers often source customer names and personal details from data breaches, public records, or social media. The fact that the caller from 0730225410 knew your full name does not make the call legitimate - it actually strengthens the scam's credibility in your mind, which is the scammer's goal. Use this as a red flag: legitimate bank staff may know your name, but they will always let you verify the call through official channels.
