Called reporting suspicious card activity. Knew the first four digits of my cards and my phone and email address. This is a scam after contacting my bank directly.
Had 2 recent calls within minutes on different numbers too.
Wife was confused and passed to me, very well english speaker but didn't indicate who he claimed to be and simply hung up. Super supicious.
Always authenticate them, if they say they are PayPal and some payment was made, log into the site yourself, it should be shown and if not, question them why and you will wait for their call when you see it on PayPal. Com transactions list. Otherwise tell them to f*k off.
Same with any callers, I had a legit super annuation call and I asked how I know they are real, they said to just log into their site, click some certain links and their notes about the issue would be listed.. Proves they were legit.
