I chose not to answer this call as the number appeared to be associated with a scam.
The caller claimed to be from Telstra, discussing my internet connection, but I have never been a Telstra customer. This is the second time I’ve received a call from this same number recently.
I received a call from a blocked number asking whether I had applied for a $500 voucher from a rewards company. Just 10 minutes later, I got another call from this number claiming to be from Telstra Internet, saying that my Internet was being hacked. I expressed my disbelief, asked for the name of the person I could ask for if I called back, and then he hung up.
Number searched 17 times today, indicates to me it is likely a scam caller. I did not answer nor did I call back.
