Just received a phone call from this number who claimed that they were in the international department of fraudulent transactions within Pay-pal. They claimed that a transaction request of $900 had been made on my PayPal account; and was requesting that I downloaded an app called “connectwise control” - which is an app which lets you remotely control other devices..
Called saying they are from Amazon asking whether an iPhone was purchased from my account. They said they would transfer the call at which point the call dropped off.
Scam.
The didn't hang up before voicemail activated. Sounds of an 'industrious' foreign call centre in the background. No message left. Stinks of a scam.
