Indian accented female called and claimed to be from Telstra, said that my IP address had been switched from Private to Public and requested that I open any browser on my Phone. Knew my first and last name which was a bit concerning. Based on other comments fairly sure this was a scam phone call.
Caller was female sub-continent accent, advising National Broadband Network internet connection was detected as being slow for last couple of days and whether I had noticed. Asked me to undertake a speed test and although I didn’t do one, asked what the speeds were and what ping latency was. Asked me to do again. At that point I hung up.
