Answered the call, someone breathing very poorly and typing very loudly for 30 seconds, then call was terminated. I hope the scam paycheck is good, they sound like they may need a doctors appointment tbh.
Just received a call from this number claiming to be from Telstra Technical Department. He said my IP address has been 'open' for the past few days and that it was at risk. Knowing it was a scam I asked how he could help protect me. He said by him assigning me a new IP address and then people couldn't access my IP. I said, but you'll be able to. He said, why would you say that? He became agitated. I then told him I don't have a Telstra service to which he replied, why didn't I just say no to his offer. So I said no. He then became more agitated and said to me "see, that wasn't hard to say no". He tired of my questions and hung up.

I just received a call from this number claiming to be from PayPal. Telling me my account had been hacked and they were checking if I’d authorised a payment at 4 am this morning. They then said they were going to connect me to some PayPal server at which point I said this sounds like a scam, please put me through to a Manager or Supervisor, and they hung up. When I suggested it was a scam they got all defensive.
Do not answer. Luckily my phone automatically declined the call as suspicious and went to voice with no message left.
