I've reached my limit with this number. I've received calls from them at least three times a week, and I wonder when the government will take action against these callers.

Scam. Indian accent man said he was from Amazon and that someone had used my Amazon account to purchase a new phone. Load of crap.

Caller was "Edwin" who claimed to be from eBay support. Clearly a scammer. Didn't proceed with the call.

Another one of the three calls received shortly after I tried to verify a scam purchase of an iPhone 5 on eBay using my PayPal account, and no one answered.

L

I received an automated call claiming to be from "PayPal." I hung up immediately and blocked the number, believing it to be a scam.

I didn't answer the call since my caller ID showed it was an 07 number, which is not local to my state of Western Australia. After reading about other reports identifying it as a scam, I'm relieved I didn't engage with the caller. I wish the government could take stronger action against all scam calls.

The call came from a number that I suspect is spam because it is not from Queensland.

K

This was the third call in a row from various interstate numbers. None of these callers left a message, but I researched the previous two numbers, and the second one was reported by multiple people as being from an Indian male who provided different stories during calls.

C

I am frustrated with these persistent calls and messages. When I called back, I got a message saying, "Voice mailbox is full and cannot accept any messages at this time. Goodbye." There was no company name or any useful information, just this meaningless message.

D

Scam scam scam.

An Indian accented male called saying he is from National Broadband Network and asking if I am the owner of the business. He says National Broadband Network are upgrading and wanted access to my computer. Clearly another Indian scammer probably armed with information obtained from an Australian bank's back office operations in India (yes CBA, NAB, ANZ and Teachers Mutual Bank).
