I received a call from this unknown number while I was away, and no message was left. After checking on this website, I now see that it's clearly a scam call, which is unfortunately not surprising.

I received a call from this number and when I answered, the caller hung up immediately without saying anything. I didn’t even get a chance to respond.
This number has called me repeatedly while I was at work without leaving any messages, leading me to suspect it is a scam.

Called me and it was a robot lady claiming to be commonwealth bank regarding a fraudulant transaction: Hung up and blocked.
The caller claimed that $499 had been charged to my bank account and represented themselves as being from the Commonwealth Department of Security to verify this charge. I told him I had never heard of that department, which made him a bit aggressive. Ultimately, I said I would check with my bank and hung up. It’s definitely a scam.

The Truecaller app identified this call as a Visa scam, and I do not own a Visa card, which raises my suspicions. 🤔

Usual indian accent caller called 'fred" claiming to be with mastercard security about suspicious transaction on m y account.. I asked him to give me the last 4 digits of my account.. And the name of the account. He stuttered and said they were no allowed to do so for security reasons. I then told him I don't have a mastercard and he should get an honest job. He hung up.
This person claimed to be from Telstra and was going to give me 50% of my next 6 months worth of bills. She just needed me to confirm my details. I advised her that I would not confirm my details as it is not something Telstra would do. I advised that if she was from Telstra she could just put the discount on my account without me confirming. She hung up on me.

I just received this call also and it was regarding Pay Pal. I’m 100% convinced it’s a scam call as it sounded very automated.
