It's a scammer for sure not a telemarketer. If you ring the number back you get an Australian voice message saying leave a message and then they message says their voicemail box is full. When is the government going to do something about these sort of things. The liberals never did let's hope labour can do it.

Against my better judgement I answered this call.
It was a recorded message from 'PayPal' telling me fraudulent activity had taken place within my account.
Number is now blocked, but that won't stop them trying again, no doubt.

Telstra selling their products to loyal Telstra customers. But I am not a Telstra customer. Indian Scammer pretending be a Telstra customer services. Scammer.
I missed a call from this number and they did not leave a voicemail. I previously missed a call from another similar number (same prefix), which turned out to be a scam, so I'm assuming this one might be as well.
A recorded voice call claimed to be from PayPal, stating that they needed approval for a large transaction of around $700. They provided multiple options to choose from but I decided to hang up, feeling it was suspicious.
Its a Qld number but saying they are from visa and credit card from Melbourne. If that was the case it would be an 03 number. Indian female calling. I hung up after they said this. They knew my name.
