I did not answer the call because I suspected it was a scam based on prior reports. The comments I read regarding this number were helpful in confirming my suspicions.

Like other reports before, this number rang but did not leave a message. When I tried calling back, I received a prompt asking to leave my name and number, which led me to assume it’s a scam. After checking here, I was able to confirm my suspicion.

Call from this Brisbane number today. I was expecting a call from Brisbane but answered without giving my name. Male called Ricky said he was calling about my “power metre”. Told him I didn’t need his advice and hung up, and blocked the number.

I received a scam call from a recorded voice claiming to be from PayPal, saying there was a suspicious $700 transaction on my account. I hung up before they could finish their message.
