My phone identified this number as SPAM, so I chose not to answer the call, and I have since blocked it.
The caller was convincing because she had personal information including my mobile number, address, and email from four years ago. She claimed to be from an Australian government agency and threatened to block my phone for 24 days if I did not respond.
Scam call. Don’t ever give personal details to unsolicited calls or allow yourself to be put under any pressure to do so. Scammers often try sweet talking about special deals or create some sort of urgency to lead you to sharing details or accessing your hard earned money.
Legitimate callers do not ask for credit card, bank, or compromising personal details.
