Received a call from this number they were claiming they were from National Broadband Network and I have slow internet speeds, I asked where he was located he are said from National Broadband Network and this is a very important call, I again asked where he was located, he said Melbourne Australia. This is Brisbane number SCAM.
I had a phone call from this number as well as a Sydney number 0290710252. Both numbers are the same Indian person.
Tried to say that I had purchased an iPhone 7 that cost $399 through an Amazon account.
Firstly, I do not have an Amazon account (I even checked the Amazon login and it says put in your email and mobile number to log in) I put in my mobile number and it said that number didn’t exist on the Amazon service.
Secondly, why the hell would I purchase an iPhone 7 when I have an iPhone 13 max pro? Why would I downgrade?
Third, you got my name wrong on the initial pick up on top of that you didn’t say who you were (what company?). If you’re gonna scam somebody get yourself organised first!
This number and the number I listed is the same person because he tried phoning me back immediately three or four times and each time it kept flipping back between Brisbane and Sydney for the numbers.
