Absolutely a scam! Said they were from PayPal and there was some unauthorised transaction on my account and wanted me to download an app from playstore to remotely access my phone. Spent the past two hours prank calling them and they all have a different story. But they are NOT PayPal. Beware!!!!!
I missed this call, but the voicemail message was from someone claiming to be with PayPal (in a female American accent) requesting a debit amount. I believe it's a scam, so I have blocked the number.
Missed call.
Left automated voice message saying that they were PayPal who have a purchase request for authorisation for an amount of $299.99. The same amount will be debited from your account. If you want to cancel this press 1, want to claim press 2, or speak to a representative press 9.
