Got a call from ‘Steve’ sounded suspicious he wanted my address to do an online valuation in 2 mins. Don’t engage - don’t answer the call.

Definitely a bot spammer!! 'Steve' sounded like a real person initially and asked if he could keep in touch and asked for my email address. Thinking he was legit, because we have been monitoring property sales, I gave him my email address but kept getting pauses from him and really weird responses. In the end, 'Steve' kept looping to confirming parts of my email - which he was repeating incorrectly. By this stage, I realised what was happening and just kept saying 'yes'. Hopefully, they have a lot of fun adding that really weird email address to their list as it doesn't exist. Reported and blocked.

The caller addressed us by our first names and, after a brief pause, said they were available to answer any questions regarding our property.
