Received 2 calls from this number. Answered the 2nd as I was expecting a call. Couldn't understand what they were saying. I believe this is a scam number. Ignore it.
This number has called me several times. Because it appeared to be a normal mobile number and I was waiting on a few call-backs, I tried returning the call. Each time I attempted, It would instantly fail and I’d receive an automated message saying the call couldn’t go through due to a service provider issue. Then the call would disconnect. Straight after, my phone began acting strangely… my WiFi and 5G stopped working, the screen froze and I had to restart the device.
Since then, I’ve had ongoing issues such as rapid battery drain, overheating and constant network drop-outs, even though my account is fully paid and every other device in the house works perfectly. It’s led me to believe this could be a spoofing or hacking attempt, so I’ll be doing a factory reset as a precaution. I may be overthinking it, but I’d rather others stay alert than experience the same stress. Better to be cautious than caught off guard I say.
They’re pretending to seek feedback but really just want you to sign up for whatever they're selling with some dodgy discount. Classic trick!
