This number contacted me claiming to be Microsoft support. I highly recommend not engaging in any conversation with them, as it appears to be a fraudulent call.
The caller pretended to be Microsoft support, which seems suspicious as I did not initiate any contact with them.
Tapped on a FB story and then my PC screen showed a bogus Microsoft support site claiming they blocked the content they required user to call 03 9969 4245.
Yep this is definitely a scam. I got involved today. CLICKED on a news story and next minute computer screaming a constant message " do not turn your computer off.. Etc over and over again!" This did my head in and resulted in me making the mistake of giving access to my computer. I feel like a bloody idiot but it was very professionally done. As they say always be alert.
