    Called on the 15 January, didn't leave a message but requested a call back. I don't know you, am not calling back. Surely a scammer.

    Please add this to your blocklist and add them as spam so Google know this guy is a spammer, call and hang up to see whether you are an active number or not and then they will call you.

    What is the purpose of ringing and hanging up? I am getting constant calls like this & when I search the number multiple others have looked them up as well. Like all the other such callers, I am blocking them!

    Spam.

    Been getting a lot of these numbers starting in (03) 99...... That are spam.

    Not sure where or why as I just block them as they come in flagged as "suspected spam"

    One (03) 99... I called back on the work land line and it was a new variation on the "James from wine group" robot that plagued everyone for ages.

    This particular one I called back and had a robot thanking me for calling, my call was valuable, leave a message etc but didn't identify why they called & then put me on hold.

    Creeps.

    03 9937 0301. Hang up when answer, no message, call back and full mail box. Another of these ridiculous numbers generated to test if your mobile number is still active. Will this ever stop?

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
