This call is likely a spam call. The caller had an Indian accent and was asking for personal information.
The caller was polite despite being a cold caller, which made the interaction somewhat more bearable, but it’s still a part of a practice I find intrusive and suspicious.
A caller requested to speak to the person responsible for the phone line. I believe this is a scam attempt.
On 26th February at 10:00 AM, I received a call on our work phone. I ignored it, as we are based in Queensland and do not service calls from interstate locations.
The caller pretended to be from Vodafone and wanted to speak with the owner of my company. It was clearly an attempted scam call.
When this number called, I was already on another line. I tried to call back and encountered a recorded message stating, "the number you have called is not connected." This indicates it's a typical spam caller, and it's extremely frustrating how persistent these spam calls have become.
