I don’t normally answer my mobile phone without checking number and caller ID but just did. After delay with background chatter a female voice rattled off a name and “from Telstra, how are you this morning?” to which I responded “I don’t know who you are.”

The call was terminated immediately.

Suspicious to say the least.

This number is unfamiliar to me. It has a Melbourne area code, which is not local to me. The call lasted for five seconds and no message was left, leading me to deem it suspicious.

Hang up no message, when I redialled it came up with voicemail is full and unable to leave a message, suspected scam call.

They hung when I answered. Given I received a dodgy call from a very similar number 2 hours, I suspect this is also dodgy.
