This number claimed they were calling from Telstra and said they detected errors on my internet line and could help me fix it if I granted them remote access to my computer. I asked his name and told him I would call him back and he began to give me a mobile number and I said no a landline number he then hung up.
I reported this to telstra who said it was a scam that if I had of granted access to my computer then they would have installed hacking softwear for the next timeI did internet banking. Rang Police as well and they are also aware of the scam.
