Call claiming to be from ANZ about unusual overseas transactions on credit card. Very poor line. Eventually stopped call and rang ANZ directly. There had been no contact from ANZ recorded on my accounts. So considered fraud and ANZ was to refer the phone number to their cyber security team. Told to block phone number.
I received a call from a poor-quality line where the caller claimed my credit card had overseas transactions. They hung up quickly, and I reported this incident directly to my bank. This is definitely a scam attempt.
I got this call and said that my mother in law had opened an account on line in June this year, and had many debt to pay. However, my mother in law was never here as she lives overseas. I asked him to send me a copy of the statement and he then hung up on me.
