I received a call from this number. It came up as being from Clayton in Victoria. They were claiming to be Telstra. They asked if my internet was slow and I said yes it was.

They said I have had a security breach and someone from Mexico had hacked my IP.

When they asked me to log into my computer I started asking questions as it was obvious there was something suss going on.

I asked for my latest bill amount and they said that information was with another department. I then asked for my own account and personal details and they gave some details (which were not mine) that were clearly made up on the spot. Once I got angry and demanded answers a distorted voice came onto the phone and swore at me before hanging up.
