SCAM CALL PRETENDING TO BE COMMONWEALTH BANK. BEWARE.
They know your full name and address you as such before you even tell them.
NOTE IT IS A SCAM CALL.
A caller contacted me and addressed me by my full name, stating he was from Commonwealth Bank. He claimed that I had approved a $1200 transaction for Bitcoin, which is quite amusing since I don’t invest in cryptocurrencies at all. He attempted to guide me through various steps, but I refused and ultimately hung up on him.
I received a missed call from this number. When I called back, an automated message from Optus said the number is not connected, which raises red flags.
