Now apparently used by "Australia Post" to inform you about undelivered parcels. Obvious scam.
I have received multiple phone calls from this number over the past week, sometimes receiving two calls a day and even at night. I choose not to answer them and let my answering machine pick up the calls. Each time it does, the caller hangs up immediately.
The caller was outside, making heavy breathing sounds, knew my name, and claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank. This raised serious concerns.
No message was left by the caller. When I returned the call, I only received a busy signal.
Currently being used by Indan scammers posing as Telstra using the “Your IP has changed from Private to Public” scam. Will hang up when questioned on it.
The caller claimed to be from E-Bay, but when I asked how they could call someone who does not use E-Bay, they abruptly hung up, which raises my suspicions about the legitimacy of the call.
