Automated message from a supposed Visa representative claimed that money has been transferred from my account to eBay and an offshore account. Please beware of this fraud.
The call I received had a recorded message claiming to be from Vodafone, but the number is not associated with Vodafone. The first part of the message was in English and the second part was in Chinese, which added to my suspicion.
I received a message that was mostly in Chinese, claiming to be from the Commonwealth Bank. I do not have an account with Comm Bank, so I find this suspicious.
A Chinese-speaking caller contacted me, falsely claiming to represent UPS. I'm certain this is a total scam and suggest others avoid engaging with this caller.
