I received a call from this number, but they did not leave a voicemail. The lack of message and the nature of the call makes it clear to me that this is an obvious scam.

I received a call from this number claiming to be from a Visa service, stating that a payment of $1,300 was pending. They prompted me to press 1 to report fraud or 2 to approve the payment. I chose to hang up instead of responding.

Someone called claiming to be from Visa, stating that hundreds of dollars had been withdrawn from my account. The absurdity is that I don’t have hundreds of dollars at all, making this a laughable scam attempt.

Received a call a few minutes ago. I answered ever so politely and pretended to be a frail old lady. Caller said she was calling from Amazon, about my account (which I don't have). I promptly terminated the call and blocked the number.

I was scammed 3 years ago. Got my money back from the bank. Since then I have never answered unknown calls. If they do not leave a message then don't respond. I leave my mobile on mute so I am not rushing to the mobile. I use these websites to see what scams are out there. Scammers are mainly using Symbio Networks and Pivotel as their providers. Optus is the second choice unfortunately.

Didn't answer but there is someone on this forum who got a call today as well and their description sounded like it was spam so I'm glad I just ignored it.

Received a phone call from this number claiming that they are from Telstra and a lady started telling me that there is problem with local internet and they received multiple complaints and tried to lead me to show my IP on my computer. As I felt suspicious, I then asked her since she is from Telstra, can she advise me what internet connection I am having with Telstra. After I asked her that question, she just hanged up. I believe this is a scam call as if she is really from Telstra, she would have stayed online and answer all my questions to verify herself. I don't believe that she would hang up on me if she is a genuine Telstra customer service. Hope this review helps.
