When I called the real recoveriescorp, they simply said they would transfer my call to "them" and then disconnected. I am unsure who "them" refers to, which raises my suspicions.

This phone number showed up many times on my phone. It says Mendelson Lawyers and I think it is probably regarding pathology since I got some weird text messages. I will call Melbourne Pathology to find out if I have something outstanding but I think that it's a scam. I have also checked Mason Black and Mendelson Lawyers and their phone numbers are different than the one that called me.
Called saying they were from a collection agency in partnership with mendelson lawyers. This was about a pathology account, however said they had received email from me but didn't have my email address and needed it to send me the proof that l requested of their contract with Melbourne pathology. Also said he couldn't send this proof as it was outside his scope. Threaten there would be consequences if not paid within 7 days. Told him l would contact Melbourne pathology myself, he said l have to discuss with him as they are now looking after the account.
The lady voice asked my name. And she said she is a lawyer.
This number tried to call me so many times.
