Received a call from someone with a thick Indian accent asking for updates on local projects. Felt a little sketchy but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Just too vague, mate.
I am getting 3 to 4 calls a day from numbers starting with the prefix 03 and 9125; the last four digits (5652) change each time. Additionally, I'm also receiving frequent calls from (02) 9139 6212 multiple times a day.

The caller started talking about unrelated topics, mentioning globes and vent covers, but I informed them that I didn't own the house they were asking about. Nuisance caller.

This number consistently calls our store every afternoon. If we do not answer the call by saying "Hello?", they hang up immediately. This pattern seems suspicious to me.
I’ve started avoiding calls from numbers that aren’t saved in my contacts. I’ve been inundated with spam and telemarketing calls, which are quite bothersome. If a call is important enough, they usually leave a message, but I always verify the number before calling back.
I answered the call, but both the caller and I remained silent for a few seconds before the line was disconnected. It was a very strange experience, as there was no attempt at communication from either side.

This number keeps calling me, repeatedly asking for someone named Mehmet. They become increasingly angry when I inform them that they dialed the wrong number and request them not to call again.
The caller claimed to be offering upgrades for solar panels. When I declined the offer politely, I heard her laughing with her colleagues before she hung up on me, which felt quite unprofessional.
Asked him what scam he had for me today. He said, not a scam, it was a call re solar panels (or solar rebate). Usual accent, usual dribble where they hide a telemarketing call (which I also hate) as a rebate refund call. There is no unicorn that will call you to give you money. Blocked.
Said he was calling about cooling system evaporators or something. Thick accent hard to understand. Cold call. I told him it was a business number he had called and he said he would leave it there. I said "Scam" and he said "no this isn't a scam. You don't got me"....... So pretty confident its a scam lol.
Scam.
