This is a common scam. They advise they are from the Victorian energy commission.
Exhaust Fan Scam. They have been using many different VOIP numbers over the past few months. I have been reporting these scammers to the Victorian Englert commission.
They say the Victorian Energy commission is providing free exhaust fan upgrades. However this is confirmed untrue as there is no so schema according to the commission when advising them of these scam calls.
The fools that answer the phone are very unprofessional in there greetings.
The funny part. They ask really stupid questions such as is your exhaust fan installed on your roof or in the wall. There is so such thing as an exhaust fan in the wall.
I hope this scam finally gets shut down. Also. The IP phone services provider is doing nothing to shut these scammers down.
