Not a NAB customer - did try to call NAB to verify out of curiosity and they never answered/queue was too long to be picked up before they closed.
Out of curiosity, called the number on multiple unrelated work phones and the number is not in service.
I ring them back from a Telstra mobile with unlimited call plan but add 1831039xxxxxxx to the number that blocks you ID. I then conference in 5 calls to the same number and hang up. That seems to really stuff the queue up.
NAB SCAM- Hang up.
Received a message today say transaction of $250 made on your bank ac, if it's not you call back on this number.
Seems to be fraud.
Same NAB imposter.
Just received the suspicious SMS allegedly ‘FROM NAB’ (yup, all caps) that ‘a new device has been registered for mobile banking’ (no actual detail relating to me). They ask ‘if this was NOT you, please call us’ (on this number) ‘Ref:Q9847’. Be nice if the global telco community can trash the spoof number function and expose (then see prosecuted) these clowns and there is only one reason for their activities - to defraud the unsuspecting (which may be me one day….)
Text message received today 25/11/22 stating the message was sent by NAB. Scam.
Just go dodgy text from NAB saying a new device has been registered for mobile banking if it was not me to call them and this ph no. And another ref no. I'm not even with NAB anyway.
Text received claiming to be from NAB today 25/11/22. I am treating this as a scam and will not respond to the text.
Received a text from “NAB.” about a phone number registered to online banking. This was the number to call in the text.
Very probably a scam. Use caution.
